Events Configuration - Contact Methods

Contact method configuration defines required fields for both email and telephone when making bookings through the host application.

Option Description / Usage
Contact Methods
Outlet Name of the outlet the configuration will be applied to
Require Contact Email Host App Check box to define if an email address is required when making a booking
Require Contact Telephone Number Host app Check box to define if a telephone number is required when making a booking
Enable Telephone Number Validation

Check box to define if telephone number validation rules are in place

Numbers must:

  • Start with a 0

  • or +44

  • and be followed by at least 9 digits

If an email address is not supplied, Events will be unable to send out automated email communications

Configuring Contact Methods

  1. From Estate Admin menu select Contact Methods

  2. For each Outlet listed selected the required check boxes

    • Require Contact Email Host App

    • Require Contact Telephone Number Host app

    • Enable Telephone Number Validation

  3. Click Save Changes
